The Alumni Conference is open to:
- Graduates of the International M.A. in Jewish Education who have already received their diploma
- Students who are expected to graduate at the May 2026 graduation ceremony
Participants are welcome to bring partners/spouses, who may join all social and cultural activities (such as dinners, tours, and visits). Academic sessions, workshops, and professional discussions are exclusive to alumni.

The Melton Center for Jewish Education at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem will host the First International Conference on Jewish Education in Israel and the Diaspora: Identity and Belonging in Contemporary Jewish Education, from May 24th to 25th. The conference aims to address key issues at the heart of current Jewish education:
• What is the role of Jewish education in times of crisis? • How do current crises affect Israel’s place within the Diaspora? • How do we continue together?
By bringing together scholars, educators, and community leaders from across the globe, the conference aims to create a platform for dialogue, innovation, and collaboration. We will explore how Jewish education can foster identity, belonging, resilience, and intercultural understanding in a rapidly changing world. |

Thanks to generous subsidies, alumni can participate in the Alumni Conference for a symbolic fee. Please note that all conference fees will be charged in Israeli Shekels (NIS). The USD amounts provided below are estimates based on current exchange rates.
Option 1: Alumni Conference Only - May 25–27 - 700 NIS (≃ $220 USD) - Full Alumni Conference program and site visits.
- 2 nights at Shared Double Room (with alumni partner).
- All meals during the conference.
Option 2: Full Package - May 24–27 - 1000 NIS (≃ 315 USD) - Registration for the Melton Centre International Conference (May 24–25).
- Full Alumni Conference program and site visits. (May 25–27).
- 3 nights at Shared Double Room (with alumni partner).
- All meals from Sunday through Wednesday.
Option 3: Conference Participation Only (No Accommodation) 250 NIS (≃ $80 USD) - Access to the full 4-day program (May 24–27).
- All meals provided during the events.
- Note: This is a flat fee for the entire program, regardless of the number of days attended.
